GALAVANT NO. 2: call for poetry or fiction submissions exploring the theme of ‘believers’ for the 2013 print issue. to me this theme is interesting because a belief may be absolute/strong, without it being true at all: i may believe he gives a shit about me without having seen him in years. ‘believers’ centres the focus of the piece/writing on the perspective of the writer, reminding us not only of the subjectivity of what we choose to trust in, but that our beliefs can only take shape within the unreliable seizing landscape of our dumb human hearts. there will be a token payment of $50SGD/$40/£25 for selected submissions. i am ‘manning’ the account ‘editor@galavantmag.com’ & will be sending pdf briefs if you’re interested in contributing so please be nice say hi etc.  —natalie  (ps. this is what the magazine looks like.)
